There is always a wonderful turn-out & team names are pulled out of a hat so you don't know who your partner will be.
Everyone plays the same number of matches.
Babysitting is available upon request.
It's important for ALL PLAYERS to be at the courts by 9AM!! The Men's 101 starts at 8am.

Sign up sheets will be posted early...don't miss out this year! It's an 8 am start Sunday, Aug. 1 for the Men's & Ladies' Doubles tournaments. Please be on time, bring a lunch and be prepared to stay all day. Finals will be played the following day on Monday, Aug. 2 at 9am.
Mixed Doubles are back! The deadline to sign up for the Singles' & Mixed Doubles tournaments is July 18. Matches are to be arranged by the players & completed throughout the summer with finals completed prior to the Mixed Doubles Round Robin (2pm), Wind-up Party & Awards Presentation (4pm) on Saturday, AUGUST 28.
Men's & Ladies' Masters Singles tournament is for players 55+. Juniors will have an opportunity to play in a Singles & Doubles tournament through the Junior Tennis program.
Tournament Rules
- Ladies' Doubles & Men's Doubles teams who won in 2009 may not play together in the 2010 tournament.
- Tournament matches will be as follows:
- early round doubles matches are one pro-set of eight games with a 7 point tie-breaker at 7-all
- semi-finals are one pro-set of ten games with a 7 point tie-breaker at 9-all
- all singles matches & doubles finals are 2 out of 3 sets
- master's final match will be determined at a later date
- Singles & Mixed Doubles matches are to be arranged by individual participants & completed by the prescribed dates on the draw sheet or defaulted. Players are responsible for arranging matches. Finals must be finished before 2pm on Saturday, August 28.
- Players can enter either Singles or Masters Singles but not both.
- A consolation event for Ladies' Doubles & Men's Doubles will be played provided there are at least 4 participants.
- Tennis balls will be supplied for all Doubles tournaments. Players in Singles tournaments must each bring an unopened can of balls. The winner keeps the unused can and the runner up keeps the match balls.
- Guests may participate in the 'Blind Date', 'Ladies Luck-of-the-Draw' or 101 tournaments for a $10 fee. Entrants for all other tournaments must be members of the "Lake of Bays Tennis Club".
